Not by works alone but by faith; but by faith brings works
It is upon all of us as Christians to share the word of God with those around us. To bring others to Christ. In doing works, not to be selfish; the very spirit of Jesus Christ requires that we carry the word to the lost world. Ministry to the poor and other people in need. “Do good unto all men.”
We wish to challenge those of us out there on the front line; to try and share the word of our Lord with one officer each month. Can you try; have you tried!
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matt 5:16

Ohio Peace Officers for Christ annual banquet and meeting was held in Logan, Oh on April 16th. We thank all who attended and those men who took part in our planning this coming year. Please check the web for updates on elected officers for 2005. Thanks to them for their dedication and all those who continue to support the good works of our Lord. OhPOFC had our first annual Christmas fundraiser with candy bar sales in November and December. The sales went very well. We are looking at a summer candle sale fundraiser from Home Interiors. We have updated our web page with Scripture readings and Training. The written Word is our training on how to live in this world. Share this with others so all can be strengthened and continue to grow in their Christian life. Continue to visit the web page for further training and updates will be coming. With the recent lose of several law enforcement officers in Ohio, it seems very difficult starting this New Year. We pray for the family and loved ones of Officer Larry Cox, Deputy Brandy Winfield, Officers Melissa Foster and Brian Hurst. Let us this year pray that those outside for Christ come forward and give their lives to the Lord.
